of the Bint el Balad (Baladi woman).
Shekhinah will guide you through interpretation
of the wonderfully expressive music of this particular genre.
We will explore structure of the music to which the dancer improvises.
We will also focus on technique and motifsthat you can use
to interpret the Baladi music.
Shekhinah will supply notes and a list of music resources.
